Their classroom are usually not equipped with up to date textbooks.Nor can they have the funding for extra activities. Children in impoverished area may not have internet access , and may not perform as well on standardized test This may be due to their family not being able to afford $100 for prep book or for a course in the SATs or AP exams.
Most people believe that poor people are in the perdictiment they are because they are lazy and don't want to work. The notion is based on "Anything is possible in America." Yes anything can be possible in America, but climbing out of poverty is hard. People are not homeless in poverty by choice. It could be an illness put them where they are.
