Social inequality is not truly recognized until someone points it out. Social inequality can be something like
inadequate education or unfair income. It's always around us and most people don't say or do anything
about it. Below is an example of Social inequality, more specifically income.

This shows that "the rich are getting richer" literally and getting worse by the minute.
This next example is about one of many examples of unequal education in the U.S.

According to this information, the problem is schools need more people to pay attention and actually do
something about the situation of low funding , instead of thinking 'wishing' things would get better or saying,
"poor kids".
In both of these articles, it is seen that if this obliviousness to such obvious problems continues, any traces
of equality will soon be non-existent.
If people start acknowledging these problems instead of acting like they don't exist, then progress can be
made to improve the quality for living among everyone and the gap of social inequality in America can
shorten rapidly.
I have to agree with you on this one. The rich are getting richer and the poor are either, staying poor or falling deeper into poverty. The rich can help, but just don't want to. We should tax the pants off of the rich !
ReplyDeleteI think that it is so sad to see on a daily basis the inequality that we live in. Just knowing the fact that i'm not equal to this or that person because he/she have more opportinuty or whatsoever is so hurtful. Social inequality exists because the lack of wealth in certain areas pohibits these people from obtaining the same housing, health care etc. Wealthy people have access to all the goods while the poor don't have it. i think that if the wealthy help the poor, the social inequality will reduce and go down.
